Solutions Cloud Computing

Public Cloud

Public Cloud computing is what most people think of when they hear the term Cloud Computing. Put simply, you pay to use the compute and storage of a third-party over the public internet. The most common providers are Azure (Microsoft) and AWS (Amazon). Fortified IT Solutions’ specialty is Azure.

Private Cloud

Private Cloud Computing is sometimes split into two different descriptions. A Colocation (Colo) typically uses a third party’s data center, but the resources within the racks and cages are not shared. It is a single-tenant architecture. A Private Cloud can also be on-premises. Although this is typically just referred to as a data center.

Hybrid Cloud

A Hybrid Cloud combines a Private Cloud and a Public Cloud. Hybrid clouds allow data and apps to move between the two environments. This option is growing because it offers greater flexibility, more deployment options, security, compliance, and getting more value from their existing infrastructure.
